     The Intersport Trans Gaspésien Raid is an endurance mountain bike race of 180km through the back country of the Baie des Chaleurs in the heart of the Gaspé Peninsula, Québec. The forest roads and magnificent paths will make you forget the challenging slopes. The course is laid out between Bonaventure and Carleton-sur-Mer and passes through Mount St. Joseph. The ascent of Mount St. Joseph will be an opportunity to see beautiful panoramas of Carleton-sur-Mer and the Baie des Chaleurs. 

     There are 4 different events. For the more adventurous, there is the Grand Raid, a two day stage of 180km. Then there is the Half Raid, one-day event of approximately 70km. You can also choose the Recreational a family event for 15 years and over that extends 30km or 12km for children 10 years and up. For the toddlers there will be an event at each finishing line. There will be plenty of fun for everyone!
